Your first appointment focuses on understanding swallowing or communication concerns.
This may include:
- Reviewing symptoms and medical history
- Assessing swallowing safety
- Observing eating or drinking where appropriate
- Identifying communication challenges
- Providing immediate safety recommendations
Working with Your Support Team
We work closely with and accept referrals from:
- Support coordinators
- Case managers/Plan managers
- GP’s and Doctors
- Carers and family members
