No, just contact our friendly admin team and book in an appointment. If further medical review is needed, your therapist will guide you through the process.
Your first session with the TRS OT will be an opportunity to get to know you and your child and understand goals, interests, and current level of participation. A semi-structured interview and outcome measure is used to assist this process and to ensure you and your child are actively involved in goal setting and prioritising areas to be focusing on in future sessions.
During subsequent sessions, other assessments including standardised tests or questionaries may be used to further support the development of an appropriate evidence-based therapy plan.
