Educational documents, videos of exercises, demonstrations, and visual cues<\/li>\n<li><em><u>Travel time<\/u><\/em> is reduced which gives clinicians more time to spend planning treatment sessions and getting the best outcomes for our clients<\/li>\n<li><em><u>Continuation of client care<\/u><\/em> on a safe and convenient platform<\/li>\n<li>A great learning opportunity to become <em><u>better coaches<\/u><\/em> via an online platform, honing our communication skills<\/li>\n<li><em><u>Showing adaptability and understanding<\/u><\/em> towards our clients that we are willing to help them in any way possible to complete their healthcare consultation<\/li>\n<li>Ability to stay in the same place and see multiple clients back to back from <em><u>all different locations<\/u><\/em><\/li>\n<li>Allows the <em><u>business to continue functioning<\/u><\/em> at full capacity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>For Clients:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><em><u>No barriers<\/u><\/em> to accessing clinicians even when there are physical and environmental limitations (medically compromised, distance, unwell, on holiday, COVID-19 lockdowns)<\/li>\n<li><em><u>Continuation of care<\/u><\/em> from healthcare practitioners if medically compromised and high risk of infection, allowing face to face communication without exposure to health risk<\/li>\n<li>Sessions can be completed from <em><u>any location<\/u><\/em>, meaning if you are away or live rurally you can still have your allied health therapy on hand<\/li>\n<li><em><u>Instant face to face connection<\/u><\/em>, ability to communicate effectively and clearly to your clinicians without any risk of misunderstanding (as can happen via phone or email)<\/li>\n<li>Can complete all exercise and educational based content <em><u>without physical contact<\/u><\/em><\/li>\n<li>Clinicians can provide <em><u>on the spot adjustments<\/u><\/em> and progressions to exercises safely and effectively, ensuring strength and function is maintained or increasing while complete remote consultations<\/li>\n<li><em><u>Ease of use<\/u><\/em> \u2013 no need to be tech-savvy to complete a consultation<\/li>\n<li><em><u>Decreased cost<\/u><\/em> of consultation for community clients as do not need to pay for clinicians travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How To:<\/h2>\n<p>If you feel Telehealth is the better option for you, please alert our Administration Team that you would like to complete your appointment via Telehealth. Admin will then send you an email to confirm your appointment, including details of how to access the appointment.<\/p>\n<h2>FAQ\u2019s<\/h2>\n<h3><em>How do I know what the best position for the camera is?<br \/>\n<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Try opening up the link an hour prior to the commencement of your appointment time. You will be able to see the video feed and can move your device around until it is in the optimal position. If we are completing an <u>information-based<\/u> consult, as long as we can see your face that is perfect! If you are completing an <u>exercise-based<\/u> consult, set up your device with a clear view of your exercise area, that is far enough away for us to see you from head to toe.<\/p>\n<h3><em>Is the session confidential? What are the privacy requirements?<br \/>\n<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Your session will be completely confidential, as it is required to have the same confidentiality, patient consent, and security of patient information and medical records as any face-to-face consultation as per the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
